So, which car company do you work for?

Hello there and welcome to my first post.

This blog is going to be devoted to pretty much whatever I feel like throwing on here, anything important or just funny news stories or something random.

So it turns out that finding a job, applying, getting said job over phone interview, and signing contract for said job isn’t enough to keep said job before it even starts. Basically, I came out to California to figure a few things out, and the deciding factor to come out here was a job that was supposed to start later on in the summer. Alas my hopes have been dashed. As a result I will never, ever spend money on an Adobe product.

Anywho, thus begins my intrepid journey into the unknown! That’s right, job applications, interviews, hours wasted staring at the phone waiting for a potential employer to call me back. All so I can do the bare minimum to get pay to able to afford, oh, I don’t know. Gas?

4 fucking 55 a gallon. I spent exactly fifty nine dollars and two cents to fully fill my gas tank today. I do believe that is the most I have ever spent on gasoline, ever.

Anyway, back to job hunting.

I went to a staffing organization today for a pre-interview of sorts to working at a cell phone company, calling existing customers to try and get them to buy shit they don’t need. You can tell just how much I’m looking forward to this, right? I figure I’ll give myself 3 weeks there at the most before I want to kill myself - err, can the melodramatics, lets face it, I would just quit and say, “Well, it’s worth it because I have enough money to get home now.”

I also applied to that wonderful department store with all this happenin youth friendly commercials. I’m sure you’ve seen them before. I certainly like shopping there, not sure if I would like working there too.

http://www.stanromanek.com/ This guy was recently featured on Larry King (see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYn4hdz91pA) showing a purported alien sighting through his bedroom window. Now, why would they not show the video? Seems kind of silly to me. If you know anything about the UFO community like I do, you would know that if someone had certifiable proof of something so fantastic as a sighting as an alien being, that you would want the world to know and show them the entire video. Keeping it a secret just adds fuel to skeptics fire. There are only two reasons you keep something secret. You either A.) don’t want people to see something because it could be damaging to other people or B.) you’re just lying and trying to make a story out of nothing.

I think I’ll bet my money on B for now. Hey, if this video is so freaking amazing, just show us, all right?

Anywho, that seems to be the only funny/weird news so far this week. Other than that I hear Bushnell is offering people 1$ million dollars to anyone that can get a clear and certifiable photo of Sasquatch/Yeti/Bigfoot. It would be actually pretty cool if someone were able to collect, but that’s certainly 1 million dollars that Bushnell will more than likely keep.
